现在spread ( between T-bill and Bond ) 非常低， 大公司的bond 很少能达到 5%. 明年 利息有可能上扬， 如果真要买， 可以考虑中短 期 5- 7 年以下。

如果不买 ETF or Bond fund, 直接买corporate bond 的时候 要看 rating

muni bond 不用交 税

fix income 的其他选择有 MLP , REIT, blue chip stocks

分批分期 买， ladder up to lower the risk, and max the return
