How India got their democratic system, either inherited from the British colonist,or created by themselves, which ,you believe , even the indians feel unsatisfied with. One thing is sure: India is a democratic country but China is not. In terms of democracy, most countries will laugh at China rather India, whether you like it or not.
As you said, democracy is so often used as an excuse.Isn't it true that the Chinese government also has loads of excuses for not being democratic.
