母亲去年去世，父亲目前B2在美，想给父亲办绿卡。几个问题请教8老师,（如有重复请见谅！）
1 - 父亲出生公证, 无犯罪记录公证, 父母结婚证明，母亲死亡证明，都是需要公证且提交么？
- People normaly do the 公证 in China and submit it to USCIS for the green card applicaton, so I suggest you also do the 公证 in China.
2 - 以上公证可以请友人在国内公证处代办吗？
-Ask the 国内公证处 whether it works.
3 – 485 党员问题 （Part 8, Item 56）只需在Part 14说明，还是要另写statement？
-Need to write a statement separately.
退休十年以上没有参加任何党活动和/或交党费算充足理由么？
-Need the proof/evidences. Here are some questions about Party and you may write the statement based on these questions:
You need to provide the statement in writing that includes the answers/information of the following questions:
1. Why did you join the Communist Party and when did you join the Party?

2. How many Party members were in your Party Branch and what were the positions in your Party Branch (e.g., Branch Secretary, Propaganda Officer, Organization Committee Officer)?
你的党支部有多少党员？支部内有哪些职务？（比如，支部书记，宣传委员，组织委员）
3. Did you hold any official Party positions?
你所但任的职务
4. Describe the activities at your last three of the Party meetings and your roles in these activities.
描述你参加的最近三次的党内会议活动，以及你在这些活动中的作用。
5. How often did your Party Branch recruit new members and what were the requirements regarding the new member recruitment?
6. Which Party organization does your branch Party secretary report to?
7. Did you gain any education or standard of living benefits after you joined the Party?
8. To what degree did you accept the structure, goals, methods, and theory and practice of the Party?
9. If you terminated your Party membership, when, how and why?
(You had better provide the proof such as the letter from your branch Party secretary if you quitted the Party, or not participated the Party activities and not paid the Party member's fee, etc.)
4 – 485, Part 8, Page 13, public charge: 61 应填YES, 那62-65是填我们的收入情况而不是我父亲的（作为我的dependent）吗？
-Say "Yes" and then, provide your father's income there, not yours. Because you will provide I-864, your father's low income will not affect his I-485 approval.
