您好！您的细致回答让我和父亲都放心了许多。又有一个问题想向您请教。我查阅了一下网上的资料，发现有人表示党员容易被要求补件或是接受半年左右的审查，请问8老师，这一情况是否属实？
由于主要受益人母亲去世，我和父亲的申请已经成为separate cases （NVC如是说）。正常情况是主要受益人持绿卡入关之前附属受益人都无法入关，那么现在我和父亲之间有谁必须先入关的关系吗？
-No. The 主要受益人 is your mother, not your father. Because your mother passed away, it is fine for you to enter US personally.
由于我们希望继续申请的原因是希望我和父亲能在美国相聚，请问8老师，若是父亲接受长时间的审查，是否我的护照也会被扣留在领事馆很久？
-Irrelevant.
审查过程中我可以先用F-1学生签返美吗？
-No due to immigrant intent.
有可能我先被批准绿卡吗？-Yes.
最后一个小问题，请问移民局发约见信是通过email方式吗？-Yes. 会发到申请人还是每一个约见受益人的邮箱？
-Depends on whether you have hired a lawyer or appointed a agent (e.g. your aunt) to receive the NVC letters for you. Normally, NVC will ask you to appoint an agent to receive the NVC letter for you during NVC process your case. You had better appoint your aunt to be the agent for you when you receive NVC agent appointment form (DS-261). Then, NVC will send the interview appointment notice to your aunt. See:
