请问8 老师： 我母亲今年80岁，于2012 年在美国取得绿卡，之后， 因为在美没有医保，每年4月来美国， 10 月回中国。最后一次离开美国是2014 年10 月， 当时买的是2015年4月回美机票。 后来老人觉得老跑来跑去身体吃不消， 就没回来。 请问， 现在想回美， 绿卡还能用于回美吗？

-No unless there was uncontrolled factor which prevented her from returning to US on time (e.g. serious illness). I suggest your mother to abandon the green card in any one of the US Consulates in China and apply for the B-2 visa at the same time or later to reenter US. If she wants to get the green card again, then you can sponsor her as you did before.
