我在中国,母亲是公民,想给我申请绿卡.

我的小孩在美国读高中,是学生签证.听说如果我有绿卡申请,就不能探亲或旅游来美国了.
-Your green card application does not affect your child's F-1 visa application. It is also possible for you to get the B2 visa to visit US temporarily.

律师让我人在美国的时候,再办绿卡.请问在绿卡批下来前,我能合法的工作和出入境吗?
-Unless you can get the H-1 status in US, it is very difficult/impossible for you to stay in US for about ten years to get the green card. So, the lawyer's suggestion is very poor.
