1. Generally, no matter what reason you provide, your application will be approved. Commonly used reasons: taking care of old and sick parents, taking care of home business, having child(ren) studying abroad and overseas employments.

2. ~ 4 months.

3. If you file I131 online, the moment you click the button "submit", that is when it is pending. However, you need to send support document to NSC by mail, e.g. photocopy of your I551 and photos.
