H1 holder is allowed to have immigration intention. VO won't reject your H1 only because you have filed 485. If your H1 application is denied, it is due to some other reasons, not your 485. Search previous posts. If my memory serves me right, there was someone who got his H1 visa from Shanghai even after his 485 is approved.
