What's the B type visa means ? You can ONLY say you'll be on a trip for a short vacation. In your case, and you do show a strong tie with Canada. Probably you need to use your full brain instead of right half brain. The only thing you can do is go ahead and try it. But do rememeber to bring the papers to show your tie with Canada.
