8老师你好，有个紧急的问题向您请教。我爱人3月底给父母申请绿卡，USCIS接收的时间是3/29。我们原以为包裹会在4/1投递，所以附上了新的申请费支票。结果今天收到了据信，说是费用不对，我的理解是因为投递时间是3/29，还没到4/1改fee的时间所以费用应该还是写以前的费用。

-Correct. USCIS new fee is effective on April 1, 2024. If you sent out your application on March 31, 2024 or earlier (postmark on your package, not the date USCIS received your packege), then your fee should be based on old rate.

USCIS付了一张绿色的纸在485上面，说如果重新提交的话就把这张纸放在最前面，但是130里面没有这张纸。而且所有的材料全部在底部已经打印上了USCIS的编号，体检表也打开过了。我们现在很困惑，有以下问题请教：

1. 如果重新提交的话，可否改为在线提交130，然后再寄走485？

-No because it will make USCIS confused.

还是说保持和原来一样的concurrent filling更好？

-Send the original package with the new correct payment check back to USCIS. Put the USCIS Rejection Notice on the top of the files.

2. 所有的表我们是否应该再重新打印一遍，-No.

还是可以使用USCIS退回的表？

-Yes. See above answer.

那些表每页底部都有标记，首页还有手写的字迹。-Fine.

3. 体检表已经打开过了，还能重新寄走吗？

-Yes because it was opened by USCIS, not you.

还是说要重新再去医生那里开一份？

-Not need.

我也不确定是否医生可以给重新开。

4. 重新寄的时候，是应该附上4/1之前的费用还是4/1修改政策之后的费用？

-The old fee. You made mistake to pay the new fee and that is why USCIS rejected your application. Don't forget to send the original files which USCIS made notes (USCIS的编号) and also enclose the USCIS Rejection Notice (据信 and 绿色的纸) so that USCIS can know that you sent the application out before April 1, 2024 though the application was rejected.
