我作为petitioner ,在2022年7月帮助我的配偶递交申请绿卡的时候， 我还是个绿卡持有者， 您知道，这个类别的移民申请有排期。我在2023年加入了美国籍成为了美国公民。为了免去排期， 于是在8月向移民局写了一封信申请把我们的移民案子升级成我的配偶是美国公民的配偶，按移民法律，移民局会把我们的案子按公民的配偶申请处理而不再有排期吗？

如果没了排期， 移民局处理这个移民案子还需要多长时间？

-Was your I-130 approved yet? Normally it takes about 13 to 15 months for I-130 processing. After I-130 is approved, then your spouse's I-485 can be approved.
