妈妈目前是H4，女儿是公民今年8月满21岁后准备为妈妈申请绿卡，但爸爸已被裁员，妈妈必须转B2才能留到8月，所以先file i539转B2，5月到8月用转B签证cover status， 8月再file i130有没有问题？等i130 和i485都file之后再withdraw i539，这样对吗？谢谢！

-Fine. She does not need to withdraw the B2 application. Her I-485 will not be affected no matter whether the B2 application is denied or approved later.

You need to make sure your kid has enough income (e.g., she has a job now) to support you for the green card application. If she has no enoguh income, you need to find a joint sponsor.
