尊敬的8老师，父母3月中旬广州面试通过，刚刚收到了寄回的护照，IR5签证页上写的到期日是8月中，有两个问题想麻烦您帮忙给点意见：

1. 是只要在IR5签证到期日之前入境美国就可以了吗？

-Yes.

父母准备7月中旬来，不知道会不会太晚？过海关会不会有问题？

-No problem.

2. 护照寄回的时候有张给USCIS交绿卡相关费用的说明，交费以后收到确认说绿卡会在入境美国后120天内收到。那如果父母7月中到美国，120天收到绿卡就11月了，这时候护照上的IR5签证已经过期了，那从8月IR5签证到期到收到绿卡之前，拿什么材料可以证明在美国的合法身份呢？

-When they enter US using the immigrant visa, the immigration officer at the port of entry will put a stamp on the immigrant visa page (i.e., endorse the visa). This endorsed immigrant visa is the temporary proof of their permanent resident status (green card holder) for one year.
