We applied for adjustment of status last May (2018) in New York for my wife (I am a US citizen). My wife already has EAD and AP (also SSN) received in Sepetmber 2018. However, it has been one year and the status for I130 still says "Case received" and for I485 - it is even more strange, it showed that interview was ready to be scheduled and interview cancelled all on the same day! (11/30/2018)
We did move from NY to NJ around 11/30 and we did change of address as well as AR11 . I have tried calling and calling, all I get is: please wait its still within time frame. At this point, I am more than happy to spend money to hire a lawyer, Is there anything I can do at this point? I feel like the case is just stuck..
