8老师，请教j1豁免问题。豁免材料一个月前寄到留学中心，目前中心没有任何动静和更新；材料还没有寄给DOS. 现在J1持有者有个新的老板可能会接受，是在同一个学校内转实验室。现在j1还可以延期并且换实验室吗？或者不延期只换实验室呢？
-You still can extend your J-1 status before your J-1 waiver is approved. I am not sure whether you can change the lab/project, depends on whether the new project is in the same program. So, talk to the International Scholar Office in the school. If they say it is OK, then it will be fine.
