最近公司动荡不安，我太太想要从O3 转成F1 status to be independent。由于I-539 processing time up to 12-15 months now, 我担心在F1 approval 之前，O3签证已经失效了。那就必须要B-2 status to close the gap， before changing to F1.

1. How can my wife change status from O-3 to B-2 status? 还是用I-539吗？-Yes.这个转化需要多长时间？-Normally abput 3 months.

2. 可以两个I-539 同时提交吗？-Yes.还是需要等B2 I-539先批下来，再提交 another I-539 from B2 to F1 status change?

3. 因为我们的NIW I-140已经批准了，但还在等排期，需要在I-539里特别注意什么吗？-It is not related to your spouse's status change. But I would suggest your spouse go back to China to get the F-1 visa to come back, not file I-539 to change the status in US because it takes too long time for change of status to F1 in US and you don't know what will happen in this long period of time.
