请问8 老师或者有经验的网友关于入籍宣誓的问题，

面试后移民官给了我一张纸，上面有何时宣誓的日期，但是我无法在那天去宣誓 并告诉他原因，然后移民官说， It is ok if you can’t come on that day, we will mail you a letter to let you know when is the next date for the ceremony ，you need to bring is this note and your green card  for the ceremony. 我的理解是， 如果我这次无法去宣誓那么下次去就行了，我的理解对吗？移民官给的那张纸上却是不一样的说明， If you can not come to this ceremony, return this note immediately with a written explanation on why you can not attend. You will then receive an appointment for a ceremony at a later date. 

到底哪个才是我应该遵循的？ 非常谢谢。
