The principle for the reentry permit is that as long as you are a lawful permanent resident (LPR), you are qualified for application for the reentry permit. The green card is just the proof of the LPR status and thus, as long as you show the valid green card when you file I-131, it will be OK even if the green card will expire during the I-131 pending because the green card expiration does not affect your LPR status as I explained in my previous response.
