请教8老师，我是EB-1C，multinational manager. 2017年10月16日交i-485。2017年1月1日，还没到180天，公司整体组织架构变化，我的legal entity 变了。但是我的工作职责，title 都没有变化。

对于变legal entity 的事情，我也没有注意到，直到2017年6月，收到面试通知准备pay slip 的时候，才发现。跟公司交涉，把我的legal entity 变回去了。面试没有专门提到这个。但是我的I-485j 一直没有批下来，说是我不portable 了。
-Who told you your I-485 was not portable, USCIS? If it is the IO in USCIS, then this IO seems inexperienced.
最近公司有些动荡，如果公司辞退我，我的绿卡的申请就终止了，是吗？
-If you can find a job in the same/similar field, your I-485 is still valid even if you are laid off by the current employer. So, you just need to file an I-485J form when you get a new job in this case.

-If USCIS told you that your I-485 could not be portable and thus, deny your I-485 later, you can hire a lawyer to file I-290B motion to reopen it. Although your I-485 pending was less than 180 days when you changed legal entity, it was more than 180 days before USCIS made a decision on your I-485. Therefore, your I-485 was still portable.
