姐姐（随姐夫拿了绿卡6年）公民面试很紧张觉得英语对话不好，问道TAX的问题因为太复杂也没答上来，而且公民面试信上没说要带TAX RETURNS她也没带（但USCIS网站说要带的）但英语读，写和历史政府公民知识答得很好。最后面试官说“Your test has passed, but communication ........(后面没听懂）we'll inform you ...around Nov 20" 然后什么东西也没给就让出来了，这倒是过了还是没过呀？ 姐姐糊里糊涂说是过了一半：历史公民知识过了但英语交流没过。我觉得八成是通过了但我姐觉得没过。
请问有过了一半，下次考试考英语的另一半的说法吗？

After the interview, the officer should have given your sister a notice (piece of note) which indicated whether she passed all of the tests (civil test, English test), or part of them, and will give her another chance to conduct the part she failed in if she passed part of the tests. So, just check the notice.
