8老师， 您好！ 我父母拿到绿卡一年多， 现在在美国呆了半年， 打算10月底回中国，明年想请假一年都呆在中国。 我是需要给他们申请Advance Parol 吗？AP 是需要在他们离开美国之前必须申请到吗？ 还是在他们回中国以后下次来美国之前拿到就可以？

-They can apply for reentry permit (not advance parole) which allows them to stay in China for > one year < two years. They can leave US after they conduct the fingerprinting for reentry permit (not need to wait for the reentry permit approval to leave US). Then, you can bring the reentry permit to them to come back or mail it to them (but the risk is that it may be lost during mail).
