8老师，谢谢您在论坛里的热血回复。我朋友的孩子在美国读化工专业，毕业可能会去咨询公司工作。这样的话，OPT的工作可能跟所学专业略有差别。这个会有什么后果吗？
-As I said before, the OPT job has to be related to his/her major-Chemistry. If the job in the consultant company is related to Chemistry, that will be fine. He/she needs to talk to the School International Student Office. If the Office say it is fine, then the job is fine because the student OPT is monitored by the International Student Office, not USCIS. 

会不会影响以后的H1B申请？
