我的孩子今年上美国的大学，加拿大国籍，之前一直是跟着我们的E2 status,想知道是让他从18岁起转成F1的签证好呢，还是保持E2 status.

今年晚些时候我们的E2续签，我们也不知道在现在的移民政策下能否成功。所以想请教8老师，如果我们的E2被拒绝，孩子是否还可以马上转F1？谢谢
-Yes, but because the E2 is denied, your child has to go to the US-Canada border to get the F-1 I-94, not change E2 to F1 within US. Talk to the school about the F-1 status application, i.e. issue I-20, etc.
