我的H4 EAD已经过期了，新的EAD 已经递交了近3个月，目前还没有消息，现在拿到一个工作 offer, 公司的HR 说他们run了 I -9 form, 我现在可以工作。请问8老师,有没有这种情况？公司希望我下周就可以上班，我可以咨询什么机构可以确认我现在上班是合法的呢？
-Technically, you cannot work until you receive your new approved EAD. But if your company agree, they may hold your salary until you get the EAD, and then pay you back as overload (of course, this is not allowed by law, but USCIS may not find this trick).
