请问大师们， 我朋友去年开始一个contract工作，公司申请h1b，但被RFE，律师们拖拖拉拉的，一直到最近才回复。回复材料里有一封现在老板的employment verification letter。 因为这个contract 4 月到期，老板就如实写了“4月到期，但可能会续约”。

像这样合同快到期了，uscis还会批准这个h1b吗？ 如果批准，新的h1b会给多长时间呢？
-Probably it will be approved, but the duration may only be up to the contract expiration date. The boss is stupid. If the job gets renewed again, then company needs to file H-1 extension again.
