My father's China passport expired. His old passport last name is Lu. However, when applying for the new passport, he is requested to change his last name to Lyu, per China standard for last name of "吕“。
I have two questions:
1. My father's new passport is xx Lyu, while his B-2 visa to enter US is xx Lu. Does he need to apply for VISA again to enter US, or he can use his old visa?
2. For my father's future application of green card in US, since all the 亲属关系公证 is xx Lu, and his daughter's US passport last name is Lu, does the change of last name of my father to Lyu impact his green card application and how to solve this issue?
