谢谢8老师，她自己希望以F1身份申请，这样她有机会用OPT在夏天实习。-She can use I-485 based EAD to work (实习) if she files I-485 as H-4 holder. So, OPT is not important at all.

只是听说F1 签证在file 486 前3个月不可以出国，不知是否有这样的规定？谢谢
-No. If she files I-485 as F-1 student, she cannot leave US after filing I-486 without advance parole. If she uses AP to travel, she will lose F-1 status.
