8老师，我的EB2 140已批，尚未递交485（优先日期未到）。父母由本人出具担保书申请探亲签证赴美，因在国内同当地政府纠纷有被拘留迫害，现在考虑申请政庇。
不知这对我的正常申请会否有潜在的影响？

另外因现有政庇的周期非常长及通过率低，在我拿到绿卡并转公民后，如果政庇申请仍未批准，是否可以放弃政庇申请并提交新的家属移民申请？
-Yes. But the problem is that if your parents fail in the political asylum application (i.e. their application is denied) before you get the US citizenship to sponsor them green card, they may be deported out of US, and thus they will not be allowed to reenter US within 10 years. So, they need to be very careful in considering application for political asylum.
