请问8老师：我的一个朋友现在EB1B 140 Approved, 485 在以前有名额时已经submitted, 但一直appending, 估计要十月份才会有名额。现在有个比较好的职位，想去另一个公司，如果辞职，有什么后果？原来帮他申请EB1B的公司可以向移民局申请撤回他的pending 485吗？还有其他什么风险？
-Depends. If the I-485 has been pending for > 180 days, then it is fine for him to change the employer. Otherwise, if < 180 days, the current employer may request withdrawal of the approved I-140, thus the I-485 will be void.
