我已经取得了IR5移民签证，计划在6月19日登陆，刚才向移民局支付了220刀绿卡费用，移民局网站自动答复说，你将在进入美国后120天内收到绿卡，请问真的需要那么长时间吗？

由于我的机票返程是8月31日，如果万一届时我还没有收到绿卡的话，我是否可以先凭护照回国，然后女儿年底前回国带给我，明年二月我持绿卡回美国不会有问题吧？谢谢！
-When you enter US using the immigrant visa, the IO at the port of entry will endorse the immigrant visa (put a stamp on it). This endorsed immigrant visa is equal to the temporary green card which is valid for one year. So, you can use it for travel or work before you get the plastic card.
