1. 给老母申请探亲签证， 需要我出邀请函吗？

-Yes.

2. 申请表中 Person/Entity Paying for Your Trip 一栏， 是填自费好还是邀请人付费好？

-You had better pay the fee for her if you have income (i.e. you are not a student, etc.), and submit the completed I-134 with the support document (see I-134 Instructions).
