请教8老师关于B2延期

8老师， 您好：

我在帮我妈妈延期B2签证。有些问题想请教一下：

1. 是不是只要在I-94过期前fileI-539并在pending 状态，就可以合法的呆在美国等批准。如果I-94过期后才收到拒绝，但立即就离开美国。这样不算非法逗留， 对吗？

2. I-539 form, part 1- 4.a "in care of name" 是填我的名字还是我妈妈的名字？

3. 护照上进入美国是10/2/16. 但i-94上是10/3/16.在I-539上应该用那个日期？

4.   12.C 

    check this box if you were granted Duration of Status
    这个是什么意思？是不是一般不用选？

5. 我可以提交我的银行证明,还是一定要我妈妈的银行证明？
