-She can file I-539 to extend her H-4 any time after you file your H-1 extension. Provide the H-1 approval notice or the H-1 receipt notice (if the H-1 petition is pending).
然后等我H1b transfer完成后(approval)，再申请H4签证回来。律师说我的H1b transfer可能需要６－８月完成。
-It is needed during the H-1 pending, you can ask your employer to use premium processing to get it done in 15 days any time.
还有一个问题，我的护照是5/7/2017过期的，可能到５月份的时候还没有approval，那么会不会有什么问题，
在申请的过程中，换新护照会有影响么？
