我侄女药学院药学博士毕业， 做了一年的药学住院医。把OPT给用了， 没找到工作， 只能再回学校读书， 读了个药学的管理，POLICY 两年的硕士， 想一边学一边找工作， 但用人单位都觉得她好， 想要她， 但又苦于没有身份， 都说只要你有PRE-OPT， 我们雇了你， 就可以给你办H1， 但她没有OPT了， 没办法， 想到CPT， 但现在她的课程好像没有提到有CPT， 她也很发愁， 想着不行就回国， 但她学的这个专业， 回国也用不上， 不知道您给看看还有什么办法没有。
-She may ask the professor to see whether there is any course which requies CPT (even if it is not required in her degree plan, i.e. it is eletive course), then register the ocurse to get CPT. Another choice is that she may find a job at a college/university or non-profit research institution, thus she can apply for non-cap H-1B any time.
She also has a choice though it is not very good: change her status to J-1 to work. She can apply for J-1 waiver later to get H-1B and apply for green card later.
