父母四月份莱美，原计划住6个月10月回国。

现在计划办绿卡。但是我的公民的1月份才能拿到（10月份我的绿卡五年，现在开始申请公民，预计1月份拿到）

请问8老师，是让他们10月份回去明年4月来了再申请绿卡稳妥呢，还是申请延期到1月份就可以申请呢。

延期对申请绿卡有没有影响？如果没有的话就延期他们不用来回在折腾一趟。

-They don't need to leave US until they get the green card. It is fine for them to apply for the B-2 status extension, or they may not need to extend their B-2 status, and  just stay in US illegally until they get the green card. Their illegal stay does not affect the approval of their green card application.
