我不希望孩子入籍。 最起码, 我希望他们再大一些, 对这个国家更了解之后自己做决定。

如果绿卡renew 没成功, 孩子可不可以和移民局说还没准备好成为美国公民, 希望保持绿卡身份?

-I don't see any immigration law to address what you want. Your child may just try to renew the green card to see what happen. However, your child can decide whether he/she can abandon the US citizenship after he/she turns 18 years.
