-No I-824 is needed. Your child just files I-485 as you did for yourself. If your child is less than 14, then you can sgin the I-485 for him/her like: "XXX (your child's name)/signed by guardian XXX (your name)". Provide the copies of the child adoption certificate, birth certificate, B-2 I-94, passport (information pages including the visa page), and the copy (both front and back) of your green card (primary applicant), and the copy of your I-140 approval notice (this is used for USCIS to verify that your PD is current).
