请教各位老师及有经验的前辈:

正在为父亲办绿卡, 在提供了移民局所要求的中美无犯罪记录后没多久, 就收到了要求父亲去面试的通知, 并要求带去出生证和结婚证.

请问:

1. 老人办绿卡, 面试会问什么问题? 想提前准备一下,以免老人紧张.

-Normally the IO may ask the questions on the Form I-485. So, your father needs to give the same answers as you filled on the Form I-485 ( to be consistent).

2. 大约程序是什么? 大约多长时间?

-Case by case.

3. 我做翻译可以吗?

-Yes.

4. 出生证和结婚证: 只有公证书,可以吗?

-Fine. Show the original one (not photocopy).
