我以EB2申请绿卡，H1 工作， H1B 2016年9月将到期，职称是Chemist, 太太有她自己的H1B, 我的优先期是2013年7月， 2015年8月递交485， 之后按规矩打了指纹。之后， 排期倒退，无奈， 只有等。
东家人事变动，工作有点不顺心，曾经感到工作不稳。后来收到EAD， 还有政府的信 Form I-797C, Note of Action, 信上说 ：if your Form 1-485 Adjustment application has been pending for at least 180 days and your underlying Form 1-140 is approved or is still pending。可以换工作。
那么现在， 我的I-140 批准有180天了，485 递交也有180天了， 但是EB2 的排期只有March 2012，还不到我的案子优先日期 (2013年7月)， 我的I-485 算pending 了180天吗？
如果递交起， 就算pending，现在有180 天了，如能换东家的话，需要新东家继续担保绿卡申请。 具体需要新东家做些什么呢？
-The new employer does not need to do anything at this point.
给我现在办理绿卡申请的律师是现东家请的美国人律师，是不是也要未来东家继续聘请现在的律师？现在的办案律师有我的所有资料， 所以， 我也不想换律师。
如果新东家有他自己的换律师， 那么换律师有什么危险？

换工作，应该通知移民局吧？
-Do nothing at this point. If USCIS send you RFE for your employment status, you just need to provide the employment verification letter from your new employer.
无论是哪个东家， 如果在485 pending 的过程中， 如果遭到解雇，多少天之内， 我必须找到类似的职位 (chemist)， 才能不损害绿卡申请呢？
-No specific time. The sooner the better. As long as you find a job before USCIS send you RFE for your employment status, you will be fine.
如果换了工作， 还是用H1B 比EAD 好吗？
-Either. H-1 is better if possible.
我有点想要求新东家在我的绿卡批下来前不许解雇我， 这个条件有点强硬， 不知怎么跟人家提， 各位有什么好办法？听说， 绿卡拿到后， 还要在类似职位工作一段时间， 绿卡才能算稳，不然有欺骗政府嫌疑， 是拿到绿卡后工作一年吗？
-Not need. You can change your job any time after you get the green card.
