我是美国公民，去年给成年未婚的儿子申请了绿卡，在排队中。今天我收到一封信说：The petitioner's date of birth listed in your request does not match our records. If you believe that the date of birth in our records is incorrect please submit a copy of a government-issued document with the correct date of birth. Some examples of acceptable documents are valid passports or birth certificates. The document you submit must include the day, month, and year of birth.

我重新仔细的查看了我的付费收据， 才发现我的生日原本是Mar 结果给写成了May， 我不知道是我写错了还是他们写错了，我的问题是：我要以为这个重新付费吗?
