今年3月交的485仍在pending，同时在申请的还有H1B六年之后的延期，（原来的5月中到期，5月初提交的129，pending）因为此次延期时485已交，所以只能延一年，我不明白的是为什么律师建议我近期不要用AP卡回国，否则会影响H1B的延期申请。这样的说法有道理吗？

But if you apply for the H-1B visa to come back after the H-1 extension is approved, then you can work with H-1b status.
