5月初失业后一直努力找工作。今天就将得到一个credit risk modeling offer了，但我的EB1A律师说"this position is not in the same or similar field as that which was listed as the basis for your I-140."
律师没有给理由。但我想理由很简单。虽然EB1A申请时的job title和职业code都是statistician，而且Petition letter里明确并正式申请的专长是psychometrics，但petition letter和所有推荐信都侧重提醒和强调了我因作为statistician而coauthor的drug abuse，psychology和public health的文章在这些邻域的引用和创新。所以律师可能认为移民局会因此断定the field which was listed as the basis for your I-140 is drug abuse，psychology和public health。毕竟这些邻域是我所有引用的主要来源。 如果从这个角度说，this credit risk modeling position尽管可以看成是一个statistics job， 但确实与the field which was listed as the basis for your I-140 such as drug abuse，psychology和public health这些邻域不沾边。
我觉得以上就是律师的理由，确实有它的道理。 但不知道在实际上是不是都是这样操作的。不知道用这个credit risk modeling job回复RFE会给485带来多大的risk呢？如果叫公司把title: credit risk modeling 改成statistician，会不会大大减低risk呢？

现在都不知道该不该接这个offer。接吧，万一被移民局认为不一致，浪费了大量找更符合要求的工作的时间。不接吧，万一移民局根本就不像律师那么想，只要职业code相同即可，那放弃这个offer就太可惜了。
