I got my green card on August, 2010. My dad is holding B2 visa which expires in October, 2014. My mom had a B2 visa but she over stayed since 2003.
-You can not sponsor your parents green card until you become a US citizen.
So I am wonder what documents do we need to prepare and if my dad can stay here to wait for his green card.
-They need to have following documents ready:
their 出生公证, your 出生公证, their 婚姻公证, 户口本公证 which contains both your parents' names and your name (if your name is not in “户口本", don't need to do 户口本公证 , but try to do the family relationship certificate between you and your parents).
By the way, your mother can not leave US before they get the green card, otherwise she will be subjected to 10-year bar. If your father over stay like your mother, he can not leave US either.
If so, what is the right process? Does he need to over stay?
