父亲与美国公民结婚,　于２００７年获得绿卡.　但一直未申请公民.　与前妻生的儿子现在美国读大学.　还有２个月就满２１岁了.请问：
１．　父亲现在开始申请公民,　要多久才能拿到?
-It is impossible for him to get the US citizenship before his child reaches 21-year birth date.

２．公民为超过２１岁的成年子女申请绿卡,　有排期限制吗？　
-Yes.
若有是多久?
-About 7 years for unmarried child; and about 11 years for married child.

３．　如果父亲现在以绿卡身份为儿子（未成年)申请绿卡,　要等多久?
-The child will be > 21 before the priority date is current (it is impossible in two months). So, he can not be 未成年 anymore.

如果在等待期间父亲同时申请公民,　等他拿到公民时再以公民身份为儿子申请绿卡（那时儿子可能已经超过２１岁).那么这个申请是属于未成年子女还是成年子女？
