-If one of your parent is the sponsor, it takes about 7 years, but your sister can not get married before she gets the immigration visa/green card, otherwise, the case will be void. If you are the sponsor, it takes about 10 to 12 years, but it does not affect the case even if your sister gets married during the case pending (her spouse and kid can get the green card together with her, if any, during the case pending).
