回复：急问8老师：父母绿卡申请出生公证被移民局认为insufficient

给父母办绿卡I-130申请过程遇到麻烦，希望8老师和其他专家给出出主意。
去年8月，130和485同时递交上去，已打指模，但上周收到移民局旧金山Field Office的RFE，说是：Notarial birth certificate are not acceptable，可接受的是：birth cerfificate (not notarial)等。但我们都知道中国以前没有birth certificate呀，只有公证处出具的出生公证，而且我周围很多人就是用同样的证据。请教8老师我该如何应答这个RFE？先谢过！
-Recently there are some people who have the same problem as yours and I don't know why some USCIS officers do not trust the 公证处出具的出生公证. Normally these USCIS officers require you to provide the 户口本公证. So, if you have the old 户口本 which contains your parents' names and your name, you may provide this 户口本公证.
