回复：TN 申请H1B的时间问题。

各位老师好！
 

我是今年 4月15日TN到这里工作，在申请TN时由于担心被拒签，自己就写了一年有效期，所以目前的TN到明年4月15号到期。

我想申请明年的 H1B 签证，雇主也答应。现在我的问题是，由于H1B申请是在 4月1号，这个申请 对于 我 在 4月15号 续我的TN
-Not affect each other. You can extend you TN to work, and then file H1 petition and work on Oct. 1, 2014 after the H-1 approval.

签证有没有影响？我本来想现在就提交 I-140表，但是这样又比较冒险，怕到明年不给我的TN 续签。
-I-140 filing/approval does not affect TN extension.

如果有影响的话，我就明年把 TN 续三年，随后提交 I140， 接着 申请后年的H1B。
