绿卡, 回国工作限制问题?

请教各位: 现有一机会回中国工作. 绿卡身份(今年12月刚拿到). 如回国长期工作,听说雇主可以向移民局申请豁免"每年在美居住至少6个月"限制. 请问这如何申请? 批复时间?
此外, 还有其它限制或需注意事项以免影响以后公民申请吗?
