question after 485 approval

Thank you, everyone, for your kind helps whenever I had questions during past years of green card application.

My employer sponsored my labor certificate. I have more questions, salary survey of similar positions indicated my salary was much below the country-side average. When my employer filed EB3 I140, my employer had promised to increase my salary to meet the average salary if I receive my green card. How should I contact my employer to have my salary adjusted? The average salary would be varied(I guess today the average salary of similar positions could be higher than that in 2007 even we are having a big economy problem). Should my employer take today's average? When will be my new salary starting date? The date of approval notice or the date I give my green card to my employer HR? I filed my wife application together, but I never heard anything from her application. What should I do to push her case this moment?
