2007年7月递交的I-485申请中14岁以下要打指纹吗?

我在2007年7月递交了全家人的I-485申请,最近我和我爱人同时收到了打指纹通知,但我7岁的儿子没有收到.
在当时的I-485说明中写着:
1. If you are between th eages of 14 and 79, you must be fingerprinted as part of the USCIS biometric services requirement.
2. If you are between th eages of 14 and 79 years, there is also a $70 biometric srevice fee for USCIS to take your fingerprints.
根据上述两点,我认为儿子可能没有打指纹要求,但有一朋友是两年前或者三年前递交的,说他们的小女儿打了指纹.因为是自己办理的,心里没有底,特来此一问,请专家及同一情况的朋友告知.谢谢了.
